Attendees’ entitlements

Thu, 9 Feb 2012

Attendance of the 27th Annual EAU Congress gives participants certain benefits. The following entitlements are available to congress participants, regardless of EAU membership. Firstly, all attendees are cordially invited to come to the opening ceremony on Friday evening. The lavish ceremony, which also includes the presentation of the EAU Awards will be followed by a traditional welcome cocktail.

Upon arriving at the congress, most attendees will also receive a congress bag and a transportation pass for getting around Paris. In addition to the free EAU Congress App, which includes the complete scientific programme, the Programme Book is available to be collected at the registration area (limited copies available). From Tuesday, 28 February, participants can print off a certificate of attendance at one of the self-service stations in the registration area. This can also be done on the Congress Website.

During the congress, delegates can make use of the following services: Internet Corners and Charge and Connect. The Internet Corners provide computer stations for your convenience, whereas the Charge and Connect area provides power outlets and network cables to users with their own laptops.

The scientific content of the congress is available to you in several forms. Collect your Abstract CD (Ferring Pharmaceuticals), or pick up your Poster DVD at the Amgen Booth. The European School of Urology offers the 2012 edition of its CD at the Millenium booth. You can also make a selection from the EAU Video Library and pick up your DVD at the Astellas booth.

In addition to these options, there is the EAU Resource Centre, which contains recordings of all presentations and sessions. This new website will have its own physical presence on level 3. All attendees can use the computers there to explore the website.
