  • What is UROsource?

    UROsource is the online resource library of the European Association of Urology. It contains over 50,000 items of scientific content, including:

    • Webcasts
    • Surgical videos
    • Abstracts
    • Posters
    • Presentations from our meetings
    • All EAU Guidelines
    • Educational material such as E-courses and Hands-on Trainings
    • Articles and supplements from the association’s scientific journal European Urology
    • Articles from the newly-introduced journal EU Focus

    It is the largest knowledge base in the field of urology and the go-to place for urologists.

  • How can I access UROsource?

    UROsource is available on UROsource.com. You can also access UROsource through Uroweb.org. Which resources you can view depends on your user profile:

    • EAU Member
      If you are an EAU member you have free access to the EAU Guidelines, E-courses, abstracts, and European Urology articles and supplements. Login with your MyEAU credentials to view these UROsource resources.
    • Meeting Delegate
      If you attend an EAU meeting of which the scientific content is available in UROsource, you have access to meeting-related content – i.e. the abstracts, posters, webcasts, or videos that were presented during that particular meeting – for up to three years. You can login with the unique meeting barcode which you can find on your meeting badge.
    • UROsource Subscriber
      If you have a UROsource subscription you have full access to all UROsource resources. This subscription is linked to your MyEAU account.

  • I don’t have a MyEAU account, how can I get access?

    You need a MyEAU account to view UROsource content. If you don’t have an account you can easily create a MyEAU account, free of charge.MyEAU

  • I don’t have access to a specific UROsource resource, what can I do?

    Which UROsource resources you can view depends on your user profile. If you are an EAU member you have free access to the EAU Guidelines, E-courses, abstracts, and European Urology articles and supplements. If you are a meeting delegate you can access the abstracts, posters, webcasts, or videos that were presented during that meeting.

    To access other items, you can purchase a renewable one-year subscription with which you can view all UROsource content. Subscriptions are also available to non-members. EAU members get a discount on their subscription fee.

  • I need to purchase a subscription to view a UROsource item, how can I subscribe?

    If you can’t access a UROsource item with your membership profile or your meeting barcode, you need to purchase a subscription. With a UROsource subscription you have full access to the entire UROsource library.

    To purchase a subscription, click on the item you want to view and follow the instructions in the pop-up menu. A confirmation will automatically be sent to your email address. After you receive the confirmation email, you can login with your MyEAU credentials. If you don’t have a MyEAU account you can easily create an account, free of charge.

  • How long is a UROsource subscription valid?

    The subscription is valid for one year.

  • What are the costs of a one-year subscription?

    The costs of a one-year subscription for full access to UROsource are mentioned in the pop-up menu. EAU members get a discount on their subscription fee.

  • I need a meeting barcode to view a UROsource item, where can I find this?

    When you attend an EAU meeting you receive a personal barcode which is printed on your delegate badge. This barcode gives you access to the UROsource items related to all EAU events you attend. You can login with any of your meeting barcodes to access all content from any of the EAU meetings you attended in the last three years. If you don’t have any of your barcodes, you can contact our registration department.

     

  • How long is my meeting barcode valid?

    With a meeting barcode you can access the meeting resources for three years.

  • I can’t login with my meeting barcode, what do I need to do?

    If you need any help logging in with a meeting barcode, you can contact our registration department.

  • Can I access UROsource from my phone or tablet?

    Yes, UROsource is accessible from smartphones and/or tablets.

  • How can I search for specific content in UROsource?

    UROsource has a refined search engine which allows you to filter any specific type of content (e.g. webcast or poster), period, or event. You can even search within your saved items and EAU Selected Items using the filter. It is also possible to search for a specific topic, title or author/speaker, etc.

  • How can I save UROsource items in my account?

    By saving items in your MyEAU account, you can easily view them again and create a personalised library which is filled with content specified to your professional interests. To save any item, simply click on the + icon in the top-right corner. Make sure you are logged in with your MyEAU credentials to save items.

  • How can I view all content of a specific event?

    The UROsource search engine allows you to filter all content from a particular meeting, congress, or other event. Direct links to the resource centres of our biggest events are listed at the bottom of the UROsource homepage.

  • What are Editor’s Picks?

    The EAU highlights certain items because of their outstanding quality or other merits. These items include the Best Abstracts and Best Posters selected at EAU events.

  • What are Most Popular Items?

    UROsource keeps track of how often resources are saved by clicking on the + icon in the top-right corner of each item. The Most Popular items appear on the homepage of UROsource so you can easily read or view them.

  • Can I save UROsource content on my phone or computer?

    It is possible to save PDF items on your phone or computer if you have access to them. Other types of content cannot be saved on other devices. It is possible to save those types of content in your MyEAU account by clicking on the + icon in the top-right corner.

  • Can I add comments to UROsource items?

    Currently it is not possible to comment on UROsource items.

  • Can I add items to UROsource?
