Endorsement

This page provides an overview of associations endorsing the EAU Guidelines. The EAU Guidelines are recognised as an important source of guidance for practicing urologists, and clinicians from bordering specialties, around the world. There is an increasing interest to use and adapt the EAU Guidelines as a resource for national urological guidelines and formalising endorsement of the EAU Guidelines by other associations was considered a logical next step in this process.

Endorsement of a guideline implies support or general approval of its content, acknowledging the value and quality of these documents. In most cases the national urological guidelines will exist alongside the EAU Guidelines. EAU Guidelines will, and cannot, replace the need for national and local guidelines.

Translations of the various guidelines can be viewed at the individual guidelines topics. Information on translations and republication by other organisations can be found in the Usage and Republication section.
