Patient Office Coordinator

The position is for 32 hours a week.

You will be working alongside the Senior Coordinator and the Website and SoMe Coordinator. As a team you are responsible for supporting the Chairman and Working Group and for ensuring that projects are executed in an appropriate and timely manner.

Your responsibilities

The Patient Office Coordinator is responsible for all activities relating to the annual EAU Congress as well as a number of projects relating to the production of Patient Information content. Your main tasks in this role will be:

Independent execution of projects relating to the production of Patient Information Website Content:

  • Annual topics updates based on EAU Guidelines
  • Translations and communications with national societies
  • New topics and leaflet development
  • Video development
  • Lending support in a variety of activities such as the organisation of in-person meetings and virtual meetings, as and when needed

Organising, in collaboration with your EAU Patient Offices colleagues and our congress department Consultants, the EAU Patient Day (during the annual EAU congress):

  • Informal invitations to speakers
  • Logistics (rooms, catering, AV)
  • Promotional activities relating to Patient Day, in collaboration with Communications, Website & SoMe Coordinator and EUT Manager
  • Patient Lounge

Your profile

  • You are able to execute projects independently.
  • You are inquisitive and willing to do the necessary research to ensure successful execution of new projects.
  • You are proactive with problem solving skills.
  • You have critical thinking skills and are very accurate, with attention to detail.
  • You have excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
  • You have an affinity with foreign languages.
  • You have advanced knowledge in MS Office applications especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe.
  • You are available to travel when necessary, in addition to fixed meetings: Annual EAU Congress in March, National Societies Meeting in May/June, Working Group meeting 2x, EPAG meeting 2x).
  • You are living in or in the near vicinity of Arnhem.
  • Strong affinity with website content development and website maintenance.
  • Professional company etiquette.
