Patient & Policy Communication Coordinator

32-40 hours a week

The job

In this independent role you will create, execute and analyse communication plans to optimise the communication between patients and urologists, but also influence policy makers in Brussels. Think about creating campaigns to enlarge awareness urological diseases, stimulating shared decision-making and educating Members of the European Parliament to keep urological diseases on the political agenda.

You will be part of the international communication team in Arnhem but closely collaborate with colleagues from our Patient Office and from our Policy Office in Brussels.

Your responsibilities

  • Initiate communication campaigns aligning with the overall strategy
  • Collaborate with other communication team members to develop promotional plannings
  • Create engaging content with internal and external experts
  • Execute campaigns across different platforms
  • Keep the content of the websites updated
  • Monitor new developments in the field of communication
  • Analyse activities and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Advise board members and present various communication options

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or Economics
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English, preferably a native speaker
  • Profound knowledge of CMS (Craft or Wordpress), emailing software and social media tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding digital media editing tools a plus
  • Happy to travel abroad a few times a year

  • The salary range for this position is €3000 – €4000 gross a month, depending on your relevant experience.
