IT Systems & Workplace Specialist
32-40 hours per week
We offer you a pleasant working environment where, in a small team, you will primarily be responsible for workplace management of approximately 100 workstations. In addition, you will contribute to the management of our hybrid cloud environment and various projects will come your way. The tasks are diverse, ranging from migrations to network management, facilities to virtualization, telephony to firewalls, and everything in between.
A selection of your responsibilities:
Managing workstations:
- Servicedesk operations
- System installations
- Initiating improvements regarding setup and implementing them
- Set-up an asset management system
- Drafting and maintaining documentation
- Drafting user agreements
- Managing vendor contracts
Managing our infrastructure, which includes:
- Private cloud (Virtualization, Windows, and Linux)
- Azure
- AWS
- Network
Ensuring the ICT infrastructure during our annual EAU congress, with around 12,500 participants, as well as smaller congresses.
What do you bring?
- You have at least completed an MBO 4-level education in IT management or have equivalent proven knowledge.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- You have experience with: Microsoft, Linux, Open Source, SQL, and website management.
- Preferably, your knowledge of server virtualisation is up to date.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably also in Dutch.
- You are stress-resistant, flexible, and enjoy a varied work environment.
- You are customer-oriented, enjoy working in teams, and have a sense of responsibility.
- You enjoy travelling.
