Sales Assistant
Join our dynamic Sales Department as a Sales Assistant, supporting a wide range of activities from contract preparation and customer data management to marketing and masterclass sales. Work closely with colleagues and international partners in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Sales Assistant - 32 hours a week
The Sales Assistant is responsible for the supporting activities related to all sales activities. This varies from preparing contracts, and grant applications to the management of customer data, masterclass sales and marketing related activities. In short, the Sales Assistant supports the Sales Department where he/she can.
As Sales Assistant you closely collaborate with the account managers, financial department, project managers of the congress department and of the European School of Urology. Furthermore, you stay in close contact with the various industry partners across the world.
Your responsibilities
- Setting up sponsor contracts
- Preparing letter of request, grant requests or RFPs
- Taking care of financial administration of sponsor contracts and checking invoices
- Keeping track of (sponsoring) budgets
- Managing the CRM database
- Sending out invitations for Industry Meetings
- Securing support for ESU Masterclasses
- Arranging logistics for the Corporate Sponsor Meetings
- Setting up agendas for meetings
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Manage the general sales inbox
Relevant education, knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate:
- has completed an education in administration, sales or marketing;
- is familiar with MS Office applications and CRM systems;
- has excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
- is accurate, customer orientated, commercially driven and result-orientated;
- has great social skills, a sense of duty and organisational understanding;
- is a team player and can perform under pressure;
- takes initiative for improvements, support and new opportunities;
- is available to travel up to 1-2 times a year including overnight and weekends.

- The salary range for this position is €2700 – €3400 gross a month, depending on your relevant experience;
