Following the EU Council recommendation, how will the organised prostate cancer screening programme be implemented in the next few years? The PRAISE-U project, which is supported by the EAU-Policy Office, addresses this question. This recording will discuss the project’s current status and main objectives.
A key aspect of this recording will be how prostate MRI, a fundamental tool of the proposed diagnostic algorithm, could be accessed homogeneously across Europe and undertaken adequately in balancing quality, quantity, and cost-effectiveness. The recording will also explore if artificial intelligence can be the solution for this and other issues, as well as, discuss relevant challenges and opportunities.
