Recording: The use of PROMS in the evaluation of RARP
The evaluation of Patient Reported Outcomes (PROMS) is playing a growing role in the judgment of treatment quality. In 2015 the International Consortium of Health Outcome Measurement (ICHOM) developed a standard set of patient-centered outcomes for men with localized prostate cancer that allows outcome comparison across various centers and treatment options.

In addition, the introduction of robotic radical prostatectomy (RARP) is offering new possibilities of quality measurement for the surgical approach itself.
This recording will discuss the present standard for outcome measurement in localized prostate cancer with a focus on current and future possibilities of RARP. Furthermore, initiatives for global comparisons of outcomes such as the Prostate Cancer Outcomes (PCO) study are discussed.
