Once every two-years a young European onco-urologist has the chance to participate in a two-week scholarship in the United States. This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge in global healthcare, and expand your professional network in an early stage of your career.
This year, the successful candidate gets to attend the SUO’s annual scientific meeting in San Diego, USA, from 30 November - 2 December, 2022. Following this meeting, the two-week scholarship begins (3 - 17 December, 2022) at a reputable American institution, with the opportunity to learn new techniques and/or technologies in basic health services or translational research, or a clinical technique or method.
All registration fees, travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the European Association of Urology (EAU) and the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO).
More about the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO)
The SUO was founded in 1984 with a mission to enable qualified members, who are primarily interested in the care of patients with malignant genitourinary diseases, to meet for the purpose of discussion, development, and implementation of ideas. The SUO stimulates research and teaching in urologic oncology, disseminates the principles of urologic oncology to medical profession at large, and brings urologists into a society whose work is principally in malignant diseases.
