Call for Applications: Adjunct Secretary General – Science
The EAU is looking for a new Adjunct Secretary General – Science, a prominent position on the EAU Executive Committee. The current Adjunct Secretary General – Science, Prof. Francesco Montorsi will be stepping down after EAU19 after a successful term.
The Adjunct Secretary General – Science is responsible for the Association’s scientific output, including congresses and publications. He or she sits on the EAU’s Executive committee, together with the Secretary General, up to two other Adjunct Secretary Generals, the Treasurer and a Secretary General-Elect when appropriate.
Candidates should have previous corporate/board experience, and have served the EAU in another capacity, such as in a Section, Office or committee. The position requires representing the EAU at various events, taking the place of the Secretary General when requested and being an effective communicator.
Applicants have until November 1st to respond to the Search & Nomination Committee (SNC). Following an extensive selection procedure, the new chairperson will be nominated by the SNC and elected by eligible EAU members at EAU19 in Barcelona.
