The EAU Section of Infections in Urology (ESIU) is looking for national representatives for the Global Prevalence Study on Infections in Urology (GPIU study). The GPIU study is an international web-based study designed to gather surveillance data on antibiotic resistance, type of urogenital infections, risk factors and data on antibiotic consumption.

The annual study is carried out via the Uroweb portal of the ESIU of the European Association of Urology (EAU).

Responsibilities

As a national representative, you will conduct and disseminate the results of the study. You will promote the GPIU study in your country to acquire the sample size of 1/3 of the number of patients you have per day.

Disseminating the results of the study in your country will boost your knowledge as well as your colleagues’, and shape clinical practice in tackling infections after surgery and the growing threat of antibiotic resistance.

Benefits
