Webcasts of ESU courses from the 26th Annual EAU Congress have now been reviewed to include a set of multiple choice questions. This format makes it much easier for urologists to evaluate the knowledge he or she gained from the webcast.This new series of ESU webcasts has been launched this week in EAU Education Online. All specialists with an interest in urology are welcome to view the material free of charge after logging into the website. The first three webcasts in the series include “Prostate cancer – screening, diagnosis and staging”, “Advanced management of urethral stricture disease” and “Diagnosis and management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
Covering a wide range of practical information on the management of prostate cancer, the first webcast discusses the best approaches to screening and early detection of PCa, the issues related to overdiagnosis and overtreatment. The second webcast aims to review the treatments available for urethral stricture disease in the context of different patient-based scenarios. The third webcast discusses the treatment options for NMIBC as laid down in the EAU Guidelines, addresses points of discussion, and potential alternatives that exist today.
