E-course: The history of prostate cancer screening trials: Lessons from ERSPC, PLCO and CAP

This series aims to provide you with an important overview of the past, current, and future of prostate cancer screening.

During this first episode, you will learn about the key findings and limitations of the following traditional screening trials: the European Randomised study of Screening for Prostate Cancer (ERSPC); the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian (PLCO); and the Cluster randomised trial of PSA testing for prostate cancer (CAP).
You will also find out why the results of these trials are not conclusive, and what are the implications for the clinical practice and patient management.
