Masterclass on Robotic partial nephrectomy
This new masterclass on robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) will guide you with your patient selection, planning, and evaluation of treatment options available.

| CME | To be approved |
| Venue | Orsi Academy |
| Location | Aalst, Belgium |
| Registration open | Fri, 1 May 2026 - Sat, 1 Aug 2026 |
You will be familiarised with surgical approaches (transperitoneal vs retroperitoneal), nephrometry scores, ischemia strategies (hilar, selective, and zero ischemia), resection techniques (enucleation vs enucleoresection), closure techniques and haemostatic agents.
Together with the experts, you will analyse key RAPN steps through live and semi-live surgery, as well as understand the learning curve, surgical metrics, and structured training pathways of RAPN.
The experts will also provide you with insights into managing complex renal tumours and borderline cases, as well as intraoperative and postoperative complications. They will address challenging scenarios such as tumour thrombus, relapses, and hereditary renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
The masterclass will teach you how to interpret and apply EAU Guidelines for localised and locally advanced kidney cancer. Furthermore, you will learn more about the postoperative follow-up strategies and imaging protocols; evaluate outcomes using trifecta and pentafecta criteria; and predict recurrence risk and assess renal function after surgery.
