Examine the biological rationale, key clinical trials, and current guideline recommendations for the neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in this UROwebinar organised by the European School of Urology and the EAU Section of Oncological Urology.
The treatment of RCC is constantly advancing, with perioperative systemic therapies becoming an integral part of care for selected patients. Adjuvant immunotherapy has emerged as a standard option for high-risk disease following nephrectomy, while neoadjuvant strategies are being actively investigated to improve surgical outcomes and reduce the risk of recurrence.
This UROwebinar will place particular emphasis on patient selection, biomarkers, multidisciplinary decision-making, and future directions that are likely to shape the next generation of perioperative RCC management.
