The European Association of Urology (EAU) and the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) provide the opportunities for a participant from Europe to attend the scholarship in Australia or New Zealand, and a participant from either aforementioned country to partake in Europe.
Every year in November, the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) organises a “Trainee Week” course in Australia where you will hone your skills and benefit from various workshops (e.g. wet labs and didactic teaching sessions), as well as, exams and more.
All course fees, accommodation, economy class air travel to and from Australia will be paid for by the EAU. The USANZ will arrange for your visits to urological units.
You are eligible to apply if you are:
- an EAU member (membership type: Junior Member)
- a (previous or current) participant at the EUREP programme
- able to travel during the indicated timeframe
Please provide the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae
- A list of your PubMed publications with PubMed IDs
- A one-page essay on why you are the best candidate for the programme
The participants are required to report back to the EAU and provide feedback on the methodology/content/exam style and value of the course they attended. The USANZ will also evaluate how the participants performed and contributed to the programme, and provide assessment reports.
