The individual in this role will lead and coordinate the development of the SRH guideline, overseeing its scientific content, methodology, and annual updates. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary panel of experts, the Guidelines Office, and associated committees to ensure the guideline reflects the latest evidence and best clinical practice. Beyond coordination, the role requires strategic vision: fostering engagement, encouraging innovation, and building a strong professional community around SRH.

The EAU Guidelines Office currently produces 19 individual guidelines, each updated every 1–3 years depending on the pace of developments in the field. The SRH guideline is updated annually using a rotating section approach.
