EAU UroEvidenceHub calls for clinics to test new features in the flagship Prostate Cancer Registry

EAU UroEvidenceHub is looking for clinics to beta-test a new bulk upload feature for ProReg, the flagship prospective prostate cancer registry.

The EAU UroEvidenceHub (UEH) has opened a call for clinics to join its Beta Testing Programme. The selected clinics will be trialing a new bulk upload feature for ProReg, the UEH’s growing platform that gathers real-world prostate cancer data outcomes and PROMS from across the world to generate new insights.

ProReg gathers robust, high-quality data to support clinicians, academics, and decision-makers in improving prostate cancer outcomes at national and international levels. The new bulk upload feature is designed to integrate with centres' existing data systems, with the UEH technical team working directly with each clinic to configure the upload process for their specific setup. All uploads comply with ProReg's data dictionary standards, ensuring data consistency and quality across the registry while maintaining the structured, reliable dataset that researchers and clinicians depend on.

"Registry participation has always been about balancing clinical workload with the value of contributing to real-world evidence," said Susan Evans Axelsson, UEH General Manager. "By bringing bulk upload capabilities directly into ProReg, we're tackling one of the biggest practical barriers to building comprehensive datasets - the time it takes to enter data patient by patient.

The ProReg Beta Testing call invites clinics to contribute to the expansion of the prostate cancer data hub, which will begin with selected centres in 2026.  Participating clinics will work through iterative testing cycles, providing feedback that directly shapes how the new bulk upload feature handles data validation and integration with existing registry workflows.

"Once bulk upload is activated, centres can upload their case data efficiently while maintaining the data quality standards ProReg requires. We're refining the process collaboratively with beta testers to ensure it can accommodate diverse clinical environments before broadening the scope to more centres".

Beta testing is designed to gradually refine the service ahead of wider rollout. The UroEvidenceHub will work closely with participating centres throughout the testing period, incorporating their feedback into ongoing development cycles.

The EAU UroEvidenceHub clinics, Lifesciences Advisory Board, and team are building Europe's definitive data platform for urological patient data that is transforming how clinicians access, compare, and apply real-world evidence for better patient care.

Beta testers will help shape how the new feature manages different data formats, ensures accuracy and integrates smoothly with each centre’s workflows, all while building their own registry database.

Centers interested in joining the ProReg beta testing programme are invited to contact datainnovation@uroweb.org to learn more and express their interest.
