New urology book: Bridging European and American evidence-based perspectives
Released in late July, the new urological book Primer on Urology has been edited by two of the field’s most respected figures: Prof. Chris Chapple (GB), former Secretary General of the EAU, and Prof. Alan Wein (US), a renowned North American urologist from the Perelman Centre for Advanced Medicine. This collaboration marked a milestone in bridging European and American perspectives on urological care, offering a truly international and evidence-based reference for professionals across the globe.

Organised into 26 sections, and 108 chapters, Primer on Urology reflects the most up-to-date scientific thinking and practice, integrating the annually updated EAU Guidelines with insightful commentaries from senior North American urologists. This approach ensures readers receive a balanced and global view of the specialty.
