Your road to EAU26: Important dates, and what’s new

The 41st EAU Congress (EAU26) will take place in London, United Kingdom, from 13 to 16 March 2026. Building on the progress and advances made at EAU25 last year, where abstract submissions surpassed record levels, the Annual Congress will once again bring together international experts to share the latest research, innovative breakthroughs, and critical reviews of best practices.

Don’t miss these important deadlines

  • Abstract submission closes on 1 November 2025 (23:59 CET), so be sure to submit your important work before the cut-off. EAU26 is the platform to present work to an international audience and contribute to the future of urology. See more information.
  • The EAU26 Awards nominations are also due on 1 November 2025 (23:59 CET). Every year, the EAU presents several prestigious awards to recognise and celebrate dedication and innovation in urological research and practice. See more details at EAU Awards.
  • Registration opens on 1 October, with an early-fee deadline on 13 January 2026, and the regular fee deadline on 10 February 2026, so plan ahead to take advantage of reduced rates.
  • If you need to apply for a visa or ETA, do so with plenty of time to spare.

What’s new at EAU26 – redefining how knowledge is shared

To enhance valuable dialogue, the EAU Scientific Congress Office is introducing a range of new formats and experiences to make the congress more interactive, engaging and accessible. In the eURO2 Auditorium, the traditional static podium will be replaced with a more dynamic stage set up featuring an extended walkway allowing speakers to interact more directly with delegates.

Sessions will move beyond conventional lectures to include more lively debates on key urology topics, keynote presentations will deliver big-picture insights, and high-impact interactive discussions that involve the audience.

These changes will create a more high-energy, engaging experience that promotes critical thinking and encourages audience engagement, while maintaining academic integrity and clinical relevance.

Connecting research and clinical practice

Following its successful debut last year, the EAU Lab will return to EAU26. Developed by the EAU’s Urological Research and Uropathology Sections in collaboration with the EAU Scientific Office, the EAU Lab has proved to be an effective platform to connect laboratory discoveries with clinical practice. The EAU26 scientific programme will feature more extended abstract sessions, as well as expert-guided poster tours (EGPT), and thematic discussions. By providing a structured, interactive space for researchers and clinicians to exchange insights, the EAU Lab will continue to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure that scientific advancements translate into meaningful progress for patient care.

Presentations in 60+ languages

After the popular first-time offering last year of AI-powered real-time translations, delegates will again be able to access live translations into more than 60 languages via mobile devices. This feature supports our aim to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for a truly international audience.
