YAU Working Group Endourology & Urolithiasis

We are a group of over 20 urologists with special interest in research who combine clinical relevance with academic rigour, building long-lasting networks between individuals and institutions that strengthen collaboration.

Various members of the group actively collaborate with the European school of urology giving contribution in designing and putting into practice new training curriculums. They also collaborate in creating and updating EAU guidelines on urolithiasis and patients' information guidance.

The interest of the group is wide and includes kidney stones, endourological innovation together with lower urinary tract symptoms, including benign prostate hyperplasia and its innovative treatment options.  The ongoing update on new technologies is enhancing the surgical planning and the results thanks to artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality in endourology and urolithiasis. The group is an example of diversity and equality and the members  over the years have created solid bonds that continue in other scientific collaborations, publications, conferences and workshops
