YAU Working Group Robotic in Urology
The YAU Robotic Surgery working group is a dynamic group of more than 20 young urologists passionate about advancing robotic surgery and shaping the future of our field. Through multi-institutional collaboration, innovation and knowledge-sharing, we aim to promote research and support the development of the next generations of robotic surgeons.
Key projects of the team
- Update the current robotic surgery training methodology
- Development of a world-wide map of robotic surgery training facilities
- Development of a single-port surgery consortium in Europe
- Creation of multi-institutional databases to assess outcomes of procedures performed with new robotic systems
