Frequently asked questions about a meeting or congress registration
You need to sign up using your own private or business address details and your own email address in order to receive your registration confirmation and invoice. Once you have done this, you can start the online registration process. If you sign up using other details than yours, we are not able to process your registration. Create your MyEAU account here.
Also if you are only the contact person, you still need to login with your own MyEAU account, or create an account first. At the first step in the registration page you can select the option “register someone else” and register the delegates. This way we know you are the contact person of the group. The confirmation e-mail, invoice and e-ticket(s) (if applicable) will be send to you directly and not to the delegates.
Please make sure that you login with your existing MyEAU account, to which your EAU Membership is connected. Otherwise the system will not recognize you as a member.
You can add these extras to your existing registration, as soon as these extras become available online. Please choose the event you registered for here, and log in. You should see a button to ‘book extras’. You can make the payment online by credit card.
Please note that this option is only available for those with an individual registration. Those who are registered by a third party can use the form above to contact the EAU Registrations Department. In your message, please include your contact details and which course you want to register for. The ESU course (if still available) will be included in your registration by the registration staff and a new invoice will be sent to you by e-mail.
In order to be allowed to receive an invitation letter, you first need to register for the event that you are interested in. Once you have registered, you can contact the Registrations Department and ask for an invitation letter.
Frequently asked questions about the EAU membership
If you paid via credit card, the processing time is normally 2 - 15 minutes. If you paid via bank transfer, the processing time is 5-7 days. After payment, please check that no amount is displayed under Amount Open anymore on this page in MyEAU. If any amount is still outstanding and the processing time has passed, please contact us via the form above and include proof of payment.
- Please check whether your membership is active. You can check this by logging into your MyEAU account and checking the Membership section for any outstanding invoices.
- Or go directly to Science & Publications > Publications > European Urology and click on the button 'Visit the European Urology website'. Please login to MyEAU and then you will be forwarded automatically to the journal website, where you can enjoy your full access to the journals. It is also possible to create an account here and set up your email alerts, using the same email address as your primary email address in your MyEAU account.
- If you still have trouble accessing European Urology, please contact Membership using the form above.
Login to your MyEAU account and go to the Membership section. Scroll down to invoices. Next to the invoice, there is an icon that allows you to download the invoice when clicked.
If you received an invoice for Active (International) Membership while you are still a resident, this usually means that we do not have valid proof of status document in our system to confirm your position, or that your previous proof of status has expired. Please upload a valid proof of status document in your MyEAU account: A copy of a letter by the Chief of your department ratifying your status as a resident listing also your anticipated date of certification as urologist (or other specialism), (in English or translated)
Please contact your National Society of Urology. They will be able to answer if there is an en-bloc membership agreement with EAU (for residents only or including urologists) and if you are (already) part of this agreement. If there is an en-bloc membership agreement with your National Society, they will provide the EAU with a list of members to include in the agreement. If you are currently not a member of the EAU, this means your name and email address were not included on the list that we received. Kindly reach out to your National Society to make sure they include you with your preferred email address at the earliest possible date.
This usually means that we haven’t had the opportunity yet to review the documents you submitted. Our aim is to review the proof of status within 48 hours, not including weekends. If your membership has not been activated after 48 hours, please contact us so we can investigate the issue.
The code to reset your password will be sent to the email address listed as the primary address in your account. If you do not receive the code, it usually means that a different email address is set as your primary email or it is in your spam/junk folder. Please check your other email inboxes and your spam/junk folder first. If you do not have access to those inboxes, or if you still cannot find the email with the code, please contact the Membership Office using the form above.
Every EAU member receives an official certificate to confirm their membership status. To download your certificate please log into your MyEAU account and go to the Membership section. Click the orange button ‘Download member certificate’ to download your certificate.
