Robot-assisted surgery has undoubtedly popularized minimal invasive nephron sparing surgery in RCC. The first case was described in 2003. Since then, the technique has undergone significant updates.

The goals are resection of the tumor in an oncologically safe fashion while preserving maximal kidney tissue and avoiding complications. In this webinar, I want to discuss the evolution in operative techniques and give an update on technical innovations available to facilitate the execution of the procedure in a safe way.
