The Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) offers a structured forum for addressing key questions in the management of advanced prostate cancer. Rapid developments in treatments, imaging, biomarkers, and molecular testing have created complex decision-making scenarios for clinicians, often with limited high-level evidence. During two days of presentations, discussions, and debates, international experts review current knowledge, highlight areas of uncertainty, and examine options for individual patient care.
The consensus panel, consisting of more than 100 specialists, contributes to the programme as speakers and moderators. Their discussions focus on predefined clinical questions covering locally advanced disease, biochemical recurrence, and metastatic prostate cancer. After the meeting, the panel’s recommendations are summarised in a manuscript published in European Urology. Attendees are invited to engage actively with the panel throughout the conference.
