HUCAD Laparoscopic and Robotic Urology: Kidney & Prostate - Hands-On | 8th Edition
The Human Cadaveric Advanced (HUCAD) Laparoscopic Urology is an innovative course for surgical training.
This 4-day course will provide a surgical experience that is the closest possible to reality.

Programme:
The programme will cover a wide range of techniques of urological laparoscopy surgery.
This is a unique course, because participants will have the opportunity to practice real laparoscopic surgery on embalmed cadavers, and feel what they should expect in real surgery.
During the course, each participant will have an opportunity to get ‘hands-on’ experience in various laparoscopic techniques under the supervision of experienced tutors.
This course is limited to 18 participants with previous basic laparoscopy skills, divided by 6 operating room tables (3 per table).

Urologist and residents with previous basic laparoscopic skills
Learning Objectives:
- Improve knowledge in urological laparoscopic surgery
- Skills improvement and systematization in laparoscopic kidney & prostate surgery
- Overall improvement of the participant’s skills in laparoscopic surgery through training models very similar to real life surgery
Admission Criteria and Registration
- Priority will be given to those with EBLUS certification
- Priority will be given to specialists and residents in their final year
