HUCAD Laparoscopic Urology: Kidney & Prostate Hands-On
The Human Cadaveric Advanced (HUCAD) Laparoscopic Urology is an innovative course for surgical training. This 4-day programme will cover a wide range of techniques of urological laparoscopy surgery. This is a unique course, because participants will have the opportunity to practice real laparoscopicsurgery on embalmed cadavers, and feel what they should expect in real surgery.

Learning Objectives:
Improve knowledge in urological laparoscopic surgery
Skills improvement and systematization in laparoscopic kidney & prostate surgery
Overall improvement of the participant’s skills in laparoscopic surgery through training models very similar to real life surgery
Target Audience:
Urologist and residents with intermediate level laparoscopic skills
Attendance Requirements:
100% attendance is mandatory for issuing attendance certificate and CME credits and/or ECTS
Admission Criteria:
CV
Priority will be given to specialists and residents in their last year, specially who have concluded
the European training programme in Basic Laparoscopic Urological Skills (E-BLUS) exam.
