International Course on Anatomical Prostate Enucleation - from resident to master
Organised by the Andalusian Urological Association (AAU), this course is designed to learn, to teach, and to perfect, anatomical prostatic enucleation en bloc in real time and without artifice.

The first day is dedicated to demonstrating that anatomical enucleation is not an art reserved for a few, but a technique that can be reproduced when it is supported by anatomy, method and appropriate tutoring. Through live surgery, the complete learning process will be shown: Residents operating under real-time expert supervision; Surgeons with consolidated experience working in parallel; and direct comparison of decisions, errors, corrections and results.
The programme covers critical aspects such as early sphincter release, safe apical control, protection of the sphincter mucosa, and management of the points of greatest difficulty during the learning curve. All this is accompanied by short teaching breaks, based on evidence and real experience of services that have already integrated HoLEP into their regulated training.
The second day projects the technique into the future. Once the anatomical concept has been consolidated, the focus is on how technology and international experience make it possible to refine the technique, optimise functional results and move towards global standardisation.
