The programme combines expert-led lectures, semi-live surgery and hands-on practical training, progressing from fundamental principles and surgical technique to advanced operative decision-making.
Day 1 includes expert teaching, semi-live surgery and hands-on training using animal tissue models, focusing on posterior dissection, bladder neck dissection, nerve sparing, apical dissection and vesicourethral anastomosis.
Day 2 focuses on advanced Retzius-sparing surgery, including challenging cases, complications and troubleshooting, followed by intensive human cadaveric training with faculty guidance.
