The renaming of the term "cancer" has been proposed, but a recent survey found that the majority of pathologists (61%) oppose this change. Support also exists for maintaining the "cancer" classification in patients with higher PSA levels.
This e-course will discuss the different management strategies for GG1 cancer in various active surveillance protocols. The renaming of GG1 has been proposed in the past and in this recording, it will be addressed from a multidisciplinary perspective, suggesting potential solutions to avoid overtreatment.
