Contribute to the EAU UroEvidenceHub: Transforming urology through real-world evidence

Today’s urologists face a critical gap: traditional clinical trials often exclude key patient groups and fail to provide timely answers to real-world questions. The UroEvidenceHub (UEH) aims to close this gap by leveraging big data, artificial intelligence, and collaborative networks to support personalised, high-quality care for every patient.

Built on the foundations of successful EU-funded projects like PIONEER and OPTIMA, the UEH features a cutting-edge data capture and analytics platform — the Data Haven. The first active registry, ProReg, focuses on prostate cancer and is fully aligned with the OMOP Common Data Model, ensuring clean, standardised data for powerful analysis.

The UEH has several unique qualities. By combining diverse global patient data with high-end analytics, the UEH will:

  • Break down the complexity of urological conditions
  • Uncover new insights into patient outcomes
  • Enable "living" guidelines that evolve with emerging evidence
  • Support more inclusive and representative research — including populations often underrepresented in trials (e.g., elderly, comorbid, economic and ethnic minorities)

Become a UroEvidenceHub Ambassador

Engage locally, share your experiences globally, and help expand the UEH network. Whether you’re a clinician, researcher, or data contributor, your involvement drives the mission to optimise outcomes and harmonise care across borders.

Why Get Involved?

Contributors to the UEH gain access to a diverse network and valuable opportunities:

  • Collaborative Research: Work with real-world data experts to tackle your own questions.
  • Benchmarking & Auditing: Generate outcome data that supports shared decisions with your patients.
  • Networking & Visibility: Join a pan-European research community with presentation and authorship opportunities.
  • Support & Training: Receive research guidance, training in real-world evidence analytics, and EAU endorsement for your grant applications.

Shaping the Future of Urology Together

The success of the UroEvidenceHub depends on a diverse, engaged community of clinicians and researchers across the globe. Your participation ensures that the insights generated reflect the real challenges and nuances of everyday clinical practice. By contributing to this collective effort, you not only enhance the evidence base for your own patients, but also help shape urology’s future — one where decisions are guided not just by data, but by data that truly represents all patients, in all settings.

By sharing data, knowledge, and experience, we can transform urological care and deliver truly personalised, evidence-based treatment for every patient.
