With this commitment to inclusivity in medical education, the new EAU Podcasts series, Andrology chronicles: Messages for Men's Health, has been accredited by the EU-ACME programme, allowing healthcare professionals to earn CME credits in a flexible manner. By removing traditional barriers to learning, such as fixed schedules and physical attendance, podcast series such as this, ensure that earning CME credits is an enjoyable part of the learning journey to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of urology.

Starting on 28 July 2024, the EAU Podcasts series Andrology Chronicles: Messages for Men's Health will release new episodes weekly. There are four episodes in total. Once participants have listened to all four episodes, there is the opportunity to earn 1.00 CME point by completing a post-test questionnaire available on the ESU online learning platform. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion, making the process of earning CME credits both straightforward and efficient.

The first episode in the series is titled ‘The Varicocele Conundrum: Treatment strategies explored,’ and features expert insights from renowned andrologists Dr. Rowland Rees (GB) and Dr. Varun Sahdev (GB). Varicocele, a condition that affects male fertility, is often misunderstood despite its prevalence. Dr. Rees and Dr. Sahdev explore the latest treatment options, ranging from surgical interventions to minimally invasive techniques. They discuss the challenges in diagnosing varicocele, the efficacy of various treatments, and the significant impact of timely intervention on patient outcomes. This comprehensive review of varicocele is not only informative but also crucial for urologists aiming to enhance their clinical practice.
