Male incontinence due to sphincteric deficiency is a condition that impacts quality of life. Artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) is considered the gold standard treatment for this condition. Correct diagnosis allows the optimisation of indications and the selection of the best candidates for this surgery.

This course aims to review the pathophysiology and diagnosis from the point of view of functional and reconstructive urologists. The experts will also examine the indications, recommendations, and peculiarities in treating neurogenic patients.
