EAU Section of Endourology
The EAU Endourology Section is dedicated to furthering research and education in all aspects of endourology, driving improvements for our patients. We are passionate about stone surgery and prevention, laparoscopy, BPH surgery, superficial urothelial cancer and focal therapy.
Who we are
The new EAU Endourology Section brings together the old EULIS and ESUT sections. It was formed in 2024. Our mission is, through our subgroups, to widen access to quality education, and drive forward collaborative research. We connect experts with those who have a desire to learn more about all that endourology encompasses.
For whom
All EAU members who practice in the abovementioned treatment areas will benefit from what out section offers. Our therapy areas are wide-ranging, from urolithiasis to laparoscopy, BPH to focal therapy, and superficial bladder and upper tract urothelial cancer. We encourage urologists, nephrologists, dieticians and biochemists to join our section. You will find our programmes to be engaging and impactful, and they will be accessible to all EAU members.

Our activities
We host an annual EAU Endourology meeting, with the first edition, ICE25, coming to Rome in November 2025. Additionally, we organise sessions at the Annual EAU Congress, and a number of workshops and webinars throughout the year. We have a strong research group, which is publishing varied and impactful research across the disease areas and in the technologies we cover. Additionally we are awarding industry-sponsored fellowships to allow young urologists to visit a centre of their choice, with funding.
