We are pleased to announce that all activities of our EAU Education Online e-Platform are now accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). The accreditation statements are as follows:

The EAU Education Online e-Platform, made available on https://eau.docebosaas.com/lms/ and organized by Stichting European Urological Foundation EAU, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMSEACCME website have formally been accredited.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

E-courses

Organised by the European School of Urology (ESU) and in line with the EAU Clinical Guidelines, ESU’s e-courses are included in the accreditation. The e-courses are the following:

  • EAU Guidelines on Prostate Cancer
  • EAU Guidelines on Renal Cell Cancer
  • EAU Guidelines on Urolithiasis
  • Introduction to upper urinary tract endoscopy for stones
  • Metastatic Prostate Cancer
  • Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer
  • Overactive bladder: mechanisms and management
  • Overactive bladder: onabotulinumtoxinA as treatment
  • Risk profile-oriented management of BPE/LUTS

Sixty minutes of actual e-learning of use (excluding introductions etc.) is equivalent to one European CME credit (ECMEC®), provided that you have completed a module and have passed the relevant assessment.
